Spring is coming…

Dear All,

Hope you are well and enjoying the spring. Lots has happened in the last few weeks and the launch of the web-site has certainly helped. Many thanks to all of you who took the time and effort to have a look at our site and gave us precious feedback. Here are the news.
New Cooking Classes: I will be starting teaching at ‘Books for cooks’ (www.booksforcooks.com) in Notting Hill and Divertimenti (www.divertimenti.co.uk) in Marylebone. My classes will be about Pan Asian Food with a twist, including recipes from Vietnam, Korea, Laos and Philippines. It involves a lot of research from me so I am quite excited about this.
‘Books for Cooks’ classes on Wednesday 19th May and Wednesday 16th June 2010
‘Divertimenti’ classes on Thursday 8th July 2010.
Recipes will include Korean Ginseng Chicken (my sister’s favourite), Vietnamese summer roll and Laos prawn wrapped in banana leaves.
What’s next:

Weaning Workshop: Watch out for the new round of weaning workshops happening soon. We will be hosting them in collaboration with Jane from 2prepare (www.2prepare.co.uk). All details updated on the website soon.
Yun and Bella Promotional Events: we are working on an official ‘Yun and Bella showcase’ in central London, showing food, photography and video. We are currently scouting for suitable locations. Keep checking on the website for updates.

Pop up restaurant: we are developing the concept of a Pop up restaurant in the Crystal Palace area. I am currently writing a menu and looking for hosts. If you are interested, do get in touch
Winner from ‘Sell It Mama’ event
The winner from our ‘Sell it mama’ event was Clive form SE20 and he has been contacted. Thank you to everyone who joined in our competition and we look forward to run another one soon again.

Welcome to Yun & Bella !!

Dear all,
welcome to my first Blog.
I am really excited to announce we will have an official launch this weekend as part of ‘Sell it mama’ in Crystal palace.
It will be a good chance to meet up locals and getting some feedbacks on my website as well as offering discounts on “weaning workshops” and a “prize draw” for joining members.
The winners will get “Gourmet take away for two” as a prize so please make sure come and see me at the stall.
 
I feel overwhelmed with all this prep work but, after all, this is what I have been waiting for quite some time. Bella is also helping me massively by sleeping like an angel in her little bed. It is 9 pm and I just need to get together all the web content etc.

A massive thanks to our designer Giacomo Mantovani (www.giacomomantovani.com) for his perfect taste and very fast delivery, and to our web-designer Ryan Samuda (I can give you his mobile if you want to) and the brilliant photographer Mirko Pincelli(www.pincellistudio.com) who has a great eye and style for putting it all together.

I am still not sure what i will be cooking on the day but i’ll come up with something cold. Any suggestions?

I look forward to meeting all of you on Saturday. Hope some of you will start on the weaning workshops in march that will kickstart the ‘Yun and Bella’ spring calendar.
